An exceptionally rare original Napolionic first empire French 'Troupe De Chasseurs Cheval' Model 1790 sword. C. Liger (Paris) recorded 1770–93).
Brass mounted with three branch hilt maker marked and in superb condition. Grip is wood wrapped with black waxed calf skin and brass wire. Blade is curved with a flat back. A superb and very rare French revolutionary period sword in untouched, unrestored condition and a genuine sleeper.
