A nice original scarce example of this WW1 Great War Belgian trench knife fresh to the market. Made for the Belgian Government in exile by the Sheffield firm of 'Sanderson Brothers & Newbould', who are better known for thier 1908 Pattern Cavalry Troopers Swords. Hardwood grip in good condition. Eight inch blade with faint traces of the "B" acceptance mark. The makers mark no longer visible. Steel disk guard housed in the correct steel scabbard.
