Description

'Kanemune' Superb Full Civilian Mounted Katana Gendai-To.

In full equisite full Koshirae. Blue Tsuka-Ito with superb Menuki. Wonderful Fuchi/ Kashira and Tsuba. The blade is in superb original WW2 polish and shows much activity. This is a robust blade which is fast in the hand and a joy. The sword is signed and carries no stamps whatsover. Signed 'Seki Kanemune Tsukuru'. This is a Mill steel Gendai-To and traditionally made, but not from Tamahagane (玉鋼) as this was in short supply during WW2 and only used in small quantities. 

Ready for use for by an expereinced practitioner or simply to enjoy as a collector.

***Please Note*** The Bokuto in the pictures is not for sale and is only given to genuine members of the school that I belong to in Japan (Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū (天真正伝香取神道流)) - I have been a member of this school for over 27 years.
