A superb example in .577/ .450 (original and now obsolete calibre). Profusely government proof marked and complete in every way - as superb item and a rare find. These were carried by both Cavalry and Artillery and are much more rare than the full length examples. A service issue Carbine that saw extensive use during the Zulu Wars and other famous campaigns during the late 19th century Victorian era.
