'Yamato (No) Kami Yoshimichi'. There were three generations of this swordsmith during the Kanbun shinto period (1661-1673) and the first two generations were renowned for their cuting ability. Fresh Japanese (stone) polish and Tsuka-Maki. Fully mounted with super en-suite fittings. Tsuka has been re-bound.
Purchased directly from the son of the English war veteran that brought this Wakizashi back to England after WW2. As such, this sword is fresh to the collecting market and has never been in a collection of any kind.
As superb example.
