Large Royal Navy Mine Clearance Service Arm Badge. Large form badge, complete with brass backing plate and retaining pin. A good example of type. The Mine Clearance Service was formed immediately after the Great War to clear a large number of mines laid during the conflict, the unit was abolished in 1920.
