This is not a commonly found modern tourist piece, but a rare, original, antique warrior’s Rungu, of stunning beauty and quality. In Maasai culture, the Rungu is a highly important emblem of warrior status for young males. A special one is held by the designated speaker at important tribal gatherings. It is especially associated with Maasai Morans (men) who traditionally use these in warfare and for hunting.
