A wonderfully robust and powerful Kanbun (寛文) Shinto (1661-1673) Wakizashi in full Koshirae (mounts).
The blade has a beutiful Yakiba, which is very active, as can be seen from the photogroaphs and our YouTube video on the this item. This Wakizashi is in excellent polish and in very fine collectable condition. The Tsukamaki has come loose, but can easily be conserved or re-bound (Tsukamaki). Beautiful Saya with Kozuka and a Wakizashi that is complete and ready to study, enjoy and invest in.
A rarely seen very high quality example.
