A good original example of the 1908 with numerous Government proof and inspection markings. Black scabbard. Excellent condition blade - numerous markings (see pictures). See Robson, 2011: 66-68 for a more in depth history of the 1908 pattern sword. A good solid original example here.

Traces of green paint to area around the sword guard and scabbard (Green/ Khaki) and an excellent issued Enfield produced piece. Numerous Government and factory proof marks.  Hard to find in such lovely condition.
