In outstanding condition and with a wonderful etched blade. It is hard to find Police cutlass's in such fine condition.
A super example of the Victorian police hanger issued from the 1850 to around 1867. It has a brass hilt with a 'D' shaped guard, ray skin grip and a heavy brass pommel with the terminal of the tang peened over for extra strength.
