An outstanding example in wonderful condition complete with original bayonet. Lock is maker marked 'Barnett' and additionally marked 'EIC' (East India Company) and dated '1806'.
This example is almost impossible to upgrade and is a very fine piece. Numerous proof and inspection marks. With plain sighted barrel stamped with proofs, signed border engraved lock, figured three-quarter stock, brass mounts of regulation specifications comprising butt plate and trigger guard. Original ramrod is present and a lovly complete example.
