***NOW SOLD***A Superb WW2 German Transitional NSKK Enlisted Mans Dagger.

A superb original example untouched since WW2 and never been apart - what a find!

The F. W. Höller Waffenfabrik company was founded in 1866. It registered with the Solingen authorities on 5th June 1883. Höller began as a manufacturer of edged weapons and cutlery.

Throughout the 1800s and First World War: bayonets and swords were all being manufactured. The thermometer trademark was registered in 1905 along with a man raising his hat above 'Hut ab!' (Hats off!). From 1914 to 1939, the firm was managed by Julius Küller.

During the Third Reich era, Höller was a massive manufacturer and specialised in a wide array of edged weapons. The company was located on Sonnen Straße 8 in 1935. That same year it received its RZM M7/33 license. Advertisements were illustrated throughout many magazines and catalogues showcasing an extensive range of NSDAP and Wehrmacht daggers, swords and bayonets. Höller also produced many dress bayonets with fine etchings.

After the war, under the ownership of Herr Grah, Höller made: flatware, kitchen and professional knives, swords and scissors until the 1970s. The company dissolved in December 1974.
