In very good condition with troop 'deliberate' denting to the scabbard to grip the blade and prevent rattling in the field. This was common on bayonets used by troops on night raids of trenches and is seen on other bayonets such as Japanese Arsisaka bayonets. If you did not know this then accept that everyday is a school day!
