French Infantry Gladius M1831, 'Glaive des Troupes à Pied Modèle 1831 - also known as by coollctors as a 'Coupe Choux' - meaning 'Cabbage Chopper”. Its design is very similar to the Gladius Hispaniensis (the Spanish sword) used by the Romans and known as the Roam Galdius.
A good example - scabbard lacking.
