Ref: 3143 - Imperial Russian Crimean War Period M1828-44 Tula Arsenal Percussion Musket.
An Imperial Russian Percussion Carbine bevelled lock converted from flintlock and dated 1836, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, steel ramrod. Original period manufacture. Based on the French M1822 musket, and produced in 69 caliber flint at the Tula Arsenal in 1836, being converted to percussion after 1844. Each piece of the brass furniture displays the year of manufacture date of 1836, with a wonderful double headed eagle stamp on the top of the buttplate.
A rare piece.
